Fake Work (the "Extension") is designed to protect your on-screen privacy by giving pages a discreet, work-friendly appearance. This policy explains what data the Extension handles.

What we do NOT collect

The Extension does not collect, store, or transmit your browsing history, the content of pages you visit, or any personal information. All visual effects are applied locally in your browser — no page content ever leaves your device.

What is stored locally

• Your settings (chosen view, custom title, options) are stored in your browser's local storage, and may sync to your Google account via chrome.storage if you enable sync.
• If you activate Premium, your license key and activation status are stored locally in your browser.

What is transmitted

When you activate or validate a Premium license, your license key is sent to our license server (a Cloudflare Worker) solely to verify it with Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor. No browsing data is included in these requests.

Third parties

Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (merchant of record). Any payment details you enter at checkout are governed by Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy.
